These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website www.avalux.net (the "Website") and all purchases made through it.

2. Use of the Website By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time – the current version is always available on this page.

3. Orders and Contract Formation An order is placed when you complete the checkout process and confirm payment. The minimum order value is 70 EUR. A binding contract is formed only upon our confirmation of your order via email. All prices are displayed in EUR (VAT not included - small taxpayer exemption in Slovenia).

4. Payment Terms & VAT Payment Methods We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit/debit card
  • Bank transfer / invoice (for larger B2B orders and upon agreement)
  • PayPal (if enabled)

Invoice payments are due within 3 working days. Non-payment within this period may result in order cancellation.

VAT (Value Added Tax) AVA LUX is currently not a registered VAT payer (small taxpayer exemption in Slovenia).

  • For private individuals (B2C – consumers): All prices displayed on the website include 22% Slovenian VAT.
  • For businesses (B2B – companies with a valid EU VAT number): We issue invoices without Slovenian VAT under the intra-Community supply exemption (reverse charge mechanism). Please provide your valid EU VAT number during checkout or via email. The invoice will include the clause: “Exempt – intra-Community supply of goods / Article 46 ZDDV-1” or equivalent. The customer is responsible for accounting for VAT in their own country.

If your VAT number is invalid or missing, we reserve the right to charge Slovenian VAT (22%) or cancel the order.

Note: For exports outside the EU, all invoices are issued without VAT (export exemption). Customs duties and import VAT are the responsibility of the buyer.

5. Delivery and Shipping Delivery times:

  • Personalized items: 14-30 working days from order confirmation and payment (depending on engraving complexity and current workload)
  • Non-personalized items: 14-20 working days

Shipping costs are displayed at checkout and depend on weight, value, and destination. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs (for non-EU shipments).

6. Right of Withdrawal Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. Exception: Personalized items (products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized – e.g. engraving with name, logo, date, etc.) are excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 43c of the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot). Such products cannot be returned or exchanged.

7. Complaints and Warranty You may report defects within 30 days from receipt of goods. To file a complaint, contact us at info@avalux.net with a description of the issue and photos. We will respond within 5 days.

8. Privacy and Data Protection We process your personal data in compliance with GDPR. Data is used only for order processing, delivery, and order status updates. We do not share your data with third parties except with contractual processors (e.g., postal services, payment providers).

9. Intellectual Property All designs, engravings, and content on the Website are protected by copyright and remain the property of AVA LUX. You may not reproduce or use them without our written permission.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms are governed by Slovenian law. Any disputes will be resolved amicably. If not possible, the competent court is in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
